1/2 Cup Chopped Onion |
1 Pound Ground Beef |
2 Minced Garlic Cloves |
1 6-oz Can or 10 Large Fresh Mushrooms Sliced |
1/4 Cup Parsley Flakes |
1 8-oz Can Tomato Sauce |
1 #2 Can Tomatoes (2 1/2 Cups) |
1 Can Tomato Paste |
1/2 Tsp. Pepper |
1/4 Tsp. Sugar |
2 1/2 Tsp. Salt |
Pinch of Basil & Thyme |
1 Cup Red Wine |
Spray Dutch Oven with cooking spray and simmer onions and garlic until tender. Add ground beef and cook until redness disappears. Drain. Chop tomatoes in blender and add to ground beef along with all other ingredients except wine. Simmer 1 hour and then add wine. Simmer 1 more hour. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles and top with parmesan cheese.
