Barb's Noodle Casserole
Meat Sauce

Simmer the meat sauce ingredients for 10 minutes. Layer in 9X12 " pan. Meat sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, and noodle sauce. Bake uncovered at 350¡ for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Best served very hot.

 

 

 

1 1/2 Pounds Ground Beef Browned
16 Oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
1 Small Can Tomato Sauce
1 Small Can Mushrooms
2 Tsp. Sugar
2 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Oregano
Garlic to Taste
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Noodle Sauce
5 Oz. Noodle cooked & drained
3 Oz. Cream Cheese
1 Pint Sour Cream
6 Green Onions chopped

Bombay Turkey
4 Tbsp. butter

Heat curry in melted butter for 2-3 minutes. Add onion and cook till tender but not brown. Blend in flour, salt and pepper, stirring well. Add chicken broth and stir until boiling. Cook 2 minutes longer. Add cooked turkey and shredded lemon peel. Heat mixture to boiling.

Cook rice according to package directions. Stir in cashew nuts and pimiento. Serve turkey mixture over rice. Makes 4-6 servings.

2-3 Tsp. Curry Powder
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
3 Tbsp. Flour
1/4 Tsp. Salt
Dash Pepper
1 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
2 Cups Diced Cooked Turkey
1 Tsp. Shredded Lemon Peel
2/3 Cup Long Grained Rice
1/4 Cup Cashews
2 Tbsp. Chopped Pimento

Beef Stew
2 Tbsp. Oil

Brown meat in oil. Add all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours. Add potatoes, carrots, fresh green beans and simmer 30 minutes.

Gravy

1/2 Cup cold Water

1/4 Cup Flour

Shake and add to stew.

2 Lbs. Stew Meat
Clove of Garlic
Onion Slices
4 Cups Boiling Water
1 Tbsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. Sugar
1Tsp. Worchestershire Sauce
1/2 Tsp. Pepper
1/2 Tsp. Paprika
Bay Leaves
Dash of Allspice
Dash of Cloves
